We just got back from our most recent vacation, a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean for Annie's birthday. It was so much fun visiting the beautiful beaches at each of our port destinations and enjoying the amenities on the cruise ship. It was Adrian's first time and he's already asking when we can cruise again!

It's been 3 years since we've taken a train ride into the city, so we decided, let's go! Luckily the weather wasn't too cold. Adrian loved the train ride, passing other trains and seeing the scenery on the way into the city. We ice skated at Millennium Park, took some pics by the "Bean" and played at the Maggie Daley Park playground before heading back home.
On Christmas Eve, we always get together with our extended family and celebrate together. The kids do a secret santa and the adults play white elephant. Sometimes, we even bust out the karaoke :) This year's attire was ugly sweater. Here's a pic of Adrian and his cousins. Usually on Christmas Eve we have a sleepover at Annie's brothers (or they sleepover at our house) and we open gifts with Lolo and Lola (grandparents) in the morning. It's tradition for us to have matching PJs too. Around the holidays, we love looking for winter activities to do around us. We visited the Prime Outlet Mall and Chriskindle Market. We went to the Central Park Lights. We dropped off Adrian's letter to Santa and visited the animals. We built a gingerbread train. And we visited the Museum of Science and Industry.
